Join us for a mobile reading and discussion group to consider works from women writers making sense of place, movement and public spaces. We’ll take a circular walk from the library through historic streets and pocket oases in Canterbury, pausing to share short readings. Our on-the-hoof discussion of the texts will draw on our surroundings and encounters to help us consider the everyday in different ways.
This free event will set off from Canterbury Library Tourist Information Desk, at the Beaney, 18 High Street, Canterbury CT1 2RA.
This event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 9–18 November 2023. For further information please see
