These three workshops are free educational events intended to help volunteers on research projects, those who might like to do the same, as well as those who want to do their own research or are interested in medieval and Tudor society. Each will be a stand-alone event and no previous experience will be assumed among those taking part. Their focus is late medieval Dover; and they complement the temporary exhibition that will be in St Mary’s church during the same period entitled ‘From Cradle to Grave: living, working and dying in late medieval Dover’. There will be a short break in the middle when tea/coffee will be available.
