In collaboration with the Forensic Capability Network we are delighted to be hosting the ‘Future of Forensic Science’ Conference at Canterbury Centre for Policing Research.

The conference is open to forensic science practitioners, crime scene investigators, police officers, academics, researchers, students, quality auditors and other members of the Criminal Justice System. This one day in-person conference offers us an opportunity to come together, share best practice and consider the future of forensic science within the United Kingdom and beyond.

The conference will include presentations from a range of speakers from across forensic science sector. More details of speakers to follow.

Attendance to the conference is £20 and lunch and refreshments will be included.

Call for papers

Papers and posters are now being accepted for the 'Future of Forensics' conference being hosted by FCN and Canterbury Christ Church University. Papers and posters covering topics including but not limited to forensic education, casework, forensic research, quality, wellbeing, EDI and sustainable futures are encouraged.

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should include the name of the presenter, their email address, title of the presentation, and brief details of the content.
All proposals must be submitted by 15th May 2023 to [email protected].

Accepted posters must be printed A2 and brought to the conference by the presenter.
