Viola is shipwrecked on the coast of a strange land, believing her twin brother has been drowned in the wreck. She sets off to Duke Orsino's court disguised as the youth Cesario. Cesario falls in love with Orsino, but Orsino loves Olivia. And Olivia falls in love with Cesario. Confusion begins!
