THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED.

Join us for an artist's talk with Rebecca Truscott-Elves' on Saturday 19 February.

This exhibition is the culmination of Truscott-Elves’s practice-based PhD that explored the nature of traumatic bonds forged with – and within – domestic spaces, and the role of ‘home’ as a philosophical space that acts as a repository for such bonds. Using drawing, painting, animation and ceramic works to transform spaces, Truscott-Elves began to explore the possibility of changing the narratives of these traces of trauma held within these locations. By rebuilding and repairing she has invited a narrative of reconnection and repair both within the domestic dwelling space and, eventually, beyond its threshold.

The exhibition runs from Tuesday 25 January until Thursday 24 February in the Daphne Oram Gallery. Time slots to visit are available to book here. If you wish to attend with a group of 10 or more people, have access requirements, or have any other questions, please email [email protected]

There will be a reception for the exhibition on Thursday 3 February, which can be booked here.

While Covid restrictions have been eased, we are conscious that infection rates remain high so we will continue to encourage visitors to book time slots for the exhibition.
