This exhibition features a series of 25 pencil drawings demonstrating the steps that Ji Sun Sjogren takes as a scrub nurse over the course of a morning’s operation. Having originally trained and worked as an artist, Ji Sun Sjogren recently embarked on a new career as a nurse and now continues the ancient links between illustration and medical studies in her new works.
The exhibition runs from Monday 20 September until Friday 17 December. You can find it on the ground floor of the new Verena Holmes building on North Holmes Road campus. Time slots to visit are available to book, 12 - 5pm, Tuesday - Thursday, and select Saturdays: 16, 23 and 30 October.
