The Centre for Kent History and Heritage with KAS is holding a free, public conference to mark the publication of Maritime Kent through the Ages. This all day conference on Maritime Kent will comprise five presentations covering topics on defence, goods and merchants, and different communities who lived and worked in Kent's maritime communities. We are very fortunate to have expert speakers including Professor Andrew Lambert, Dr Elizabeth Blanning and Dr Craig Lambert. The fourth session will be a roundtable of experts to consider where next in this field.

Please do not attend the event if you are experiencing a high temperature, cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste. While face coverings are no longer compulsory, we would encourage our visitors to wear them, especially within busy indoor spaces.
