A chance to enjoy jazz Big Band repertoire played by our students, past and present — ably assisted by some of their friends. The brilliant Orbi Band (dir. Ben Saul) will perform diverse pieces from the more contemporary repertoire which exploit the characteristic instrumentation of the classic Big Band in interesting ways. This lively concert will feature CCCU alumna, vocalist Claire Williams, whose verve and style have contributed greatly to the Band’s success.
