An Audience with Sam Gyimah, the new Universities Minister



Canterbury Christ Church University will be hosting An Audience with Sam Gyimah MP, the new Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation, and Conservative MP.

The question and answer event is free and open to the public. It takes place in the Michael Berry Lecture Theatre in Old Sessions House, Longport, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
You are also invited to a reception in Old Sessions House before the event, from 5.15 – 6pm.

Sam Gyimah is Conservative MP for Surrey East. He has wide government experience, having previously been the Minister for Prisons and Probation, the Minister for Childcare, the Minister for the Constitution, a Government Whip, and Parliamentary Private Secretary to former Prime Minister David Cameron.

He was appointed new Universities Minister on 9 January 2018.

Please note tickets are free and seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis - 2 tickets per person.
