As part of the Masters Degree programme in Arts & Cultural Management, students undertaking the Performance Programming 1 module are required to create a performance piece around their specific area of interest and organise an event to showcase this.

An evening to debut these projects has been put together, which will consist of four performances that will delve into a variety of different topics.

1. Pictures of the Past (by Ayla Wessels) – will be a representation of South African history told through images. It will be presented in multimedia shadow box theatre style.
2. Untraveled ROADs (by Brett Thomas)- Is a dance movement piece that will be taking the audience on a journey. The journey being of self- development.
3. War Tragedy (by Fatos Bicenturk) – This theatrical piece will focusing on the ideals of war and the hardships that surround it. An incorporation of artwork and audio and visual elements will bring this piece to life.
4. Lost Senses (by Kathryn Holden) – Deals with the way art is viewed. It finds its centre with the ideal that art should be and is something that everyone are able to enjoy, even those with single or multisensory deprivation.
