Makaton Enhancement Workshop

The enhancement workshop is only available to people who have completed the foundation workshop (please bring your foundation workshop certificate of attendance if you did this with another tutor) and is for a minimum of 12 people and a maximum of 15, lasts 3 days and allows participants to improve and develop their skill in using signs and symbols and covers the rest of the core vocabulary (stages 5 to 8). The cost of the workshop includes participant manuals (Modules 5-8), and pocket books of signs and symbols (Stages 5-8).

These short courses are designed for professionals like teachers, teaching assistants, speech therapists, care workers etc., but are also suitable for parents or guardians of children and adults with speech, language and communication difficulties.
